District Collector of Virudhunagar district, is continuously thinking innovatively to spread the message of Valluvam.
He is immersed in the thoughts of Thirukkural and its moral teachings.
Through the Theeraak kaadhal Thirukkural project, he organized competitions across Tamil Nadu, engaging 15,000 school and college students in drawing. The best drawings were selected and published as a calendar through the Tamil Virtual Academy.
He acted upon the request from the Voice of Valluvar family to change the situation where the number of students participating in the Thirukkural recitation was limited to 70, by removing the upper limit entirely and increasing the prize amount to 15k.
Earlier few months ago,as the District Collector, he successfully organized a week-long summer workshop for 1000 students across the state.
Now, he is conducting a 2-day Thirukkural teaching workshop for teachers, bringing in prominent personalities.
He continues to be actively involved in Thirukkural-related activities, sowing the seeds of morality.
The World Thirukkural Recitation Movement and the Voice of Valluvar family extend their heartfelt congratulations to him.
It would be beneficial if other District Collectors follow his example, paving the way for a Thirukkural-centric society to emerge soon.
